My Spanish V-H class is addicted to Velvet. Yes, they are. No shame in that. Even the boys, even the football players! Velvet is a Spanish TV series with a perfect balance between romance, humor and mystery. I watched season I and season II on Netflix, caught up with the third season when they were showing it in Spain, and anxiously waited for season IV to start. The moment I started watching it, I thought of my students... To be honest with you, I though of my girls, knowing they would fall in love with Alberto... Little did I know that the boys were going to love the show, too! I usually show Velvet to my students on Fridays, after a week of hard work... There's a few scenes that I skip because they are bit too affectionate. I don't ask my students to take notes, I don't give them quizzes about the series... we just enjoy it. And we really enjoy it. But you know what? It's funny how they incorporate Velvet pretty much in anything we do in class! We look for...

Que el tiempo vuela a partir de cierta edad no es ningún secreto. Si encima eres mami, más todavía. Aquí está ya el 2018 y con él, todas los propósitos que nos hacemos... Algunos de ellos viejos amigos, que se repiten año tras año, que no nos guardan rencor por no cumplirlos y nos vuelven a dejar jugar con ellos en el año nuevo. En mi caso, el "este año voy a ser mucho más organizada"... ¿A quién quiero mentir? La organización no es un don con el que nací. Lo intento, de verdad que sí, pero esta mente mía parece una pantalla de ordenador con varias páginas abiertas a la vez... Con varias ideas flotando, proyectos, sueños, así, un poco desordenados, flotando en el aire... Y así es como funciono, así me motivo... Pero bueno, esto no tiene nada que ver con el tema que ocupa este blog (lo único que esta introducción ha conseguido es reafirmarse a sí misma, a mi mente dispersa :) Quería escribir este blog para agradecer públicamente a la comunidad de educadores tan maravillo...
